Based on the unique selling point of being family-oriented and actively involved in community support and charity work! UWE aims to engage fans continue to grow our brand of exciting independent wrestling with an old school flare through this site!

Legends
Dapper Dan
A hardened 30+ year veteran, Dapper Dan has a long reputation for being one of the toughest and trickiest wrestlers in the south! He began his career in the late 80's after being trained by WWE hall of famer Ivan Putski. Dap has wrestled all over the country for promotions like Mid-South, Global Wrestling Federation, The Von Erich's World Class Championship Wrestling, and numerous promotions in Japan and Mexico! Dap is currently in the stable "Devastation" led by his long time friend Rod Price. Whenever he enters the ring at a UWE show, you know someone is about to get roughed up and the referee is going to have to keep an eye out!

Rod Price
"Rugged" Rod Price is a living wrestling legend! After playing football in the NFL for the Los Angeles Raiders and San Diego Chargers, Rod began his wrestling career in 1988 as "The California Stud". He wrestled for big promotions such as World Class Championship Wrestling, Global Wrestling Federation, ECW, WWF, and over seas in Japan! He once dominated the tag team divisions with a young Stone Cold Steve Austin. These days Rod serves as a talent manager in UWE and is the leader of the dominating faction known as "Devastation".
James Beard
James Beard is one of the greatest wrestling minds of all time! He has served as a referee and booker for countless promotions all over the country including the NWA. He has worked with all three generations of the Von Erich family, and even plays himself in the movie "The Iron Claw" about the Von Erichs! He not only worked in Japan but trained the talent over there on the specifics of American style wrestling. These days he happily still works as a producer for the NWA in Texas and serves as UWE's lead producer and senior referee!

Prince Fontenot
Prince is a veteran body builder and wrestler from Mansura, Louisiana. He moved to Austin, TX in his younger years and excelled in the sport of body building, even hosting his own tournament! He was bitten by the wrestling bug at a young age and began his career while in Texas. Prince has dominated the Texas scene and years later he returned home to serve as a trainer and talent for the UWE. He is a former Tag Team Champion, his most notable run was with Devonte Adams as the team "Royal Pain". Most recently he has begun tag teaming with Jax Strong.

Austin Andrews
"The Amazing" Austin Andrews is the current Heavyweight Champion and is a self proclaimed "Diamond" of pro wrestling. Andrews started his pro career in 2022 and graduated from UWE Academy in record time. Since then he has made a name for himself across the south with his aggressive high flying and technical style. Recently Andrews has turned his back on friends and fans a like when he accepted Rod Price's offer and joined "Devastation". He claims it was worth it, because right after he aligned with the group he captured the UWE Heavyweight title in dirty fashion.
"Ruthless"
Devonte Adams
Devonte Adams hails from Natchitoches, Louisiana and is never one to back down from a fight. With his hard hitting street brawler style and huge personality he is a fan favorite in the UWE and elsewhere! Devonte was trained at UWE Academy in 2021 and went on an undefeated streak after debuting, earing the title "the most feared striker in UWE". Since then has gone on to capture multiple championships in Louisiana, Texas and Arkansas! He was once a UWE tag team champion and part of the most popular tag team in UWE history known as "Royal Pain" along side his mentor, Prince Fontenot of Mansura, Louisiana.
Dread Xpress
Punk Synister and X Storms, known together as "Dread Xpress" began their careers as rivals and thrilled audiences at UWE's early shows. Somewhere along the way they agreed to unite and become a formidable tag team unit! They have captured tag team gold in Mississippi and Arkansas, then not long after they returned home to the UWE to become our current tag team champions in Louisiana! Gatekeeper
Gatekeeper is a dark soul known as "The Heartless of Texas". Originally a referee, it didn't take him long to go through wrestling school so he could inflict his own punishment. His style is a call back to other Texas brawlers such as Terry Funk. GK is like a rattle snake in the ring and once held the UWE Light Heavyweight Championship.
Rika Wildlee
Rika is one of the most charismatic and eye catching stars in the south! Known to his followers as "The Barker of the Bizarre", Rika carved out a name for himself in no time! He performs stunning high flying moves in the ring but is no stranger to agressive strike exchanges. Rika is also a master promo artist and takes fans on a wild ride anytime he gets a mic or is on camera! He currently holds titles in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. He even has his own faction, "The Family Affiliated".
Cliff Rogers is an exciting performer from Austin, TX. He was trained at the UWE Academy in 2021 and quickly became a fan favorite! Cliff is never shy of a brawl and feeds off of the energy of a crowd. He is a dangerous striker but also utilizes plenty of old school grappling and power moves in his style. The Cowboy is a former UWE Heavyweight Champion and is currently a champion in Mississippi and Texas!

Gluttony
Not much is known about Gluttony. He came into UWE seemingly out of nowhere and shocked everyone with his hellish appearance. Gluttony doesn't talk or show any emotions, he just likes to inflict pain. No one knows where he disappears to after a show, but he always finds his way back. He is a member of Rika Wildlee's stable "The Family Affiliated" and currently holds championships in Oklahoma and Texas.
Eddie Love
The Groovy King Eddie Love was one of the first champions in UWE. Eddie quickly captured the UWE Heavyweight Championship not long after completing training! You never know what is going to come out of his mouth, and as for his in ring style he definitely has more than enough power and groovy flair to go around. Lately Eddie has turned his back on the fans that used to dance with him and has become quite "ungroovy" with his new villainous ways.
Punk Synister
Punk Synister was UWE's very first Light Heavyweight Champion and one of the Academy's first graduates! Originally a goofy care free California kid that refused to give up, Punk has now transitioned into a more serious talent and is dangerous in the ring. Never take your eye off of him, his attacks can come full force in front of you or up high from the top rope! Punk has held many titles across the US and is one of the most decorated men on the roster. He is currently one half of the UWE Tag Team Champions with his rival turned friend, X Storms.

X Storms
Bone Krusher
X Storms broke the record a few years ago for being the youngest champion in Louisiana history at just 21 years old. He is one of the fastest learners from the Academy and was wrestling in front of crowds in record time. X is deadly technician and an amazing high flyer! Storms has wrestled all over the south and has even competed for Lucha Libre companies in south Texas. He is a former UWE Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight Champion and is currently one half of the Tag Team Champions with Punk Synister.
Bone Krusher lives by the saying "violent by nature, vicious by choice". He is shrouded in mystery, all we know is that he was called into UWE by one of the talent managers known as The Warden to serve as extra muscle. Muscle is something he has plenty of, he is a freakishly strong force of destruction and utilizes a no nonsense style in the ring.
Jax Strong
"The Black Superman" Jax Strong looks like something from a comic book! A former boxer and body building enthusiast, Jax is definitely not someone to take lightly. He is always pushing himself to learn more in the art of pro wrestling and tries to encourage the youth to be the best they can be and ignore the hate in life.

OG DOLLA JOHNSON
OG is a fighter from the streets and always "keeps it 150" as he likes to say. He's a monster in the ring and makes his opponent's job tough for the night, but he's also a fan favorite and always has time to say what's up to the young fans. OG's style isn't fancy, but when he picks you up and slams you down everyone in the building can feel it vibrate!

The Warden
The Warden is UWE's slick talking, backstabbing, deal making menace that manages talent in hopes of getting them the belts. He's all about calling in favors and getting what he wants. He has backed several wrestlers over the years but his current top client is Bone Krusher. Whether it's a shot across the back with a foreign object or powder to the face, Warden has ways of giving his clients the edge.

Big Money Rick
They say money talks, and Rick has plenty of it! Big Money Rick is UWE's newest talent manager and loves to strut to the ring letting everyone know how much cash he has in that brief case. He is hard nosed when it comes to getting his clients in the big matches. His most recent clients were the tag team of Prince Fontenot and Jax Strong
